Up North Realty is based in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Broker and owner, Tracy Kahkonen has been a full time Realtor for 17 years and is a lifelong resident of Baraga County.
Tracy is an excellent communicator with special skills in strategic planning and negotiating, a forward thinker, and a leader in the industry. Her very successful realty company specializes in residential sales, vacant land, and lakefront properties in the Upper Peninsula. As a lifelong resident of Baraga County Tracy brings valuable industry insight and experience. In addition, she has incredible customer attention skills that gives her the leverage for Up North Realty. By working directly with all of her clients they are well prepared and qualified to close on any contract they initiate.
Tracy enjoys spending her free time outside. She maintains a small hobby farm with free-range chickens and an organic garden. She also enjoys fishing, kayaking, and snowshoeing. Tracy has three adult children who share her interest in the outdoors.

Bio: For over forty years Bruce has worked as a forester, extensively in Baraga, Houghton, Ontonagon, and Keweenaw counties. In 1994 he obtained his real estate license and along with his forestry duties, he was responsible for land acquisition and timberland sales.
In January 2017 Bruce joined our team at Up North Realty. He specializes in hunting parcels, investment properties, and helping buyers and sellers with their wooded land sales. He is well versed in GPS technology and mapping. Bruce is honest, reliable, an excellent communicator, and willing to work with clients to find buyers/sellers for properties and to achieve the best possible prices.
Bruce and his wife are lifelong residents of the Upper Peninsula, with two adult children and several grandchildren. In his free time he enjoys being with his family, golfing, hunting, fishing, and exploring the beauty of the U.P. Bruce is currently the treasurer of the Baraga County Convention and Visitor's Bureau.
